The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued Notification No. G.S.R. 404 dated July 15, 2024, to notify the Companies (Significant Beneficial Owners) Amendment Rules, 2024.

Amendment Details:

  • Title and Commencement:
  • These rules are titled the Companies (Significant Beneficial Owners) Amendment Rules, 2024.
  • They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
  • Amendments to the 2018 Rules:
  • In the Companies (Significant Beneficial Owners) Rules, 2018, the annexure is amended to substitute the existing Form No. BEN-2 with a new form.
